  • Do scrap yards pay you for metal?

Scrap yards typically offer payment for metal. They generally accept unsorted metal collections, but you can often receive higher compensation if you take the time to sort your materials beforehand.
  • Is it worth taking metal to scrap?

For the most part, scrapping ferrous metals isn't financially viable on a small scale due to their low value. There are some exceptions, such as undamaged items that can be resold or components containing a mix of ferrous and non-ferrous metals like electric motors, but these are relatively uncommon.
  • What type of scrap metal pays the most?

Copper is typically considered the most valuable scrap metal, with brass and bronze following closely behind. This is primarily due to copper's high demand and versatility in various industries.
  • Is it worth it to sell my junk car for cash?

Unless your vehicle is completely beyond repair, selling it to a junkyard might not be the most profitable option. Even if the car has rust issues or engine and transmission problems, you could still earn a decent amount. In such cases, selling the car's parts individually often yields a higher return than selling the entire vehicle to a junkyard.
  • Do I need a title to sell my junk car?

When selling a non-operational junk car to a junkyard, you'll need to provide either the title or proof of ownership to initiate the process. Even if the vehicle isn't running, having proper documentation can help you secure a better price for your car.
  • Can you junk a car without keys?

Most salvage yards will accept vehicles for recycling without keys. The primary requirement is that you can prove you're the registered owner of the vehicle.
  • Do you take televisions?

We do not accept televisions at our facility.
